Avanti NanoSciences- Life Sciences @ speed of Light

Avanti NanoSciences is developing customized arrays for detecting the presence microbes and viruses or their components in pharmaceutical ingredients and finished products.

The microbial tests are designed to estimate the number of viable organisms present in pharmaceutical components and raw materials. The test is also used to determine whether the articles harbor designated microbial species which are pathogenic in nature. These opportunistic organisms called for in the USP include Salmonella sp., E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aerginosa. The array slides will be customized for specified product and manufacturing process.

The viral screens for biopharmaceutical ingredients and finished products will contain common viruses as well as viruses that are required to be tested by regulatory agencies (for example BSE). Each array can be customized for specific product and process.
