Arkesh Mehta, PhD Chairman & CEO
Arkesh Mehta is one of the founders of Avanti NanoSciences and assisted in spinning out the technology from AT-GC where she was serving as CEO. He held various executive positions at Avanti Therapeutics, BIO, US FDA and Phillips International including CEO, CSO, and CTO. Arkesh began his career at ARS/USDA where he worked on discovery programs in a number of biotechnology research areas including hormone action, aging, and cell engineering. He received his Ph.D. in Microbiology from the MS University of Baroda, and a B.S. from Gujarat University.

Dr. Ketan Shah, PhD, is Director of R&D at Avanti NanoSciences and will lead the project. Dr. Shah has extensive experience in R & D, biologics development and, systems integration in regulated- Diagnostic and Biomedical Device companies. Dr. Shah’s has been responsible for developing and launching commercial kits for molecular typing of infectious bacteria, completing several clinical microbiology diagnostic projects, winning several NIH research & SBIR grants, establishing and managing research collaborations, publishing peer-reviewed scientific articles in both Clinical Microbiology and Biomedical Sciences, and obtaining patents in biologics. Dr. Shah has held management positions in R& D at Dade Behring Microscan Inc., Applied Gene Technologies and Bacterial Barcodes. Dr. Shah has a PhD in Microbiology and held a tenured Associate Professor and Coordinator position at Center for Molecular Medicine at Clark Atlanta University.

Harry Brubaker, MBA, Senior Vice President, Business Development

Harry Brubaker, VP, Business Development has extensive experience in business development in a number of companies, including Phillips International and Comcent. He served as AVP for Health Insurance industry before working with Avanti NanoSciences.
